Lazzat storms to Jubilee Stakes victory, then unseats jockey at Royal AscotWhat a way to wrap up an unforgettable week at Royal Ascot! 👑🏇🇬🇧 In the feature race, Lazzat 🇫🇷 held off favourite Satono Reve 🇯🇵 (サトノレーヴ) to win the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, before shying away and unseating celebrating jockey James Doyle, who had to walk into the winner’s enclosure alone. It was the eighth career victory from 11 starts for the four-year-old gelding trained by Jérôme Reynier. Meanwhile, Rebel’s Romance 🇮🇪 thundered home under William Buick to capture the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes—an 18th win for the seven-year-old gelding, sired by the exceptional Dubawi 🇮🇪 and trained by Charlie Appleby. Had an amazing week at Royal Ascot—really enjoyed all the creative possibilities and the friendly atmosphere this exceptional event offers. Many thanks to the Ascot media team, colleagues, and security for making it such a breeze! 🏇
